Since 1997, YCS Corporation has been the premier provider of After-School Plus (A+) Program services. As a private provider, YCS Corporation works with schools and communities to design after-school programs that meet the unique needs of the students, school, and community. In our seven after-school programs, YCS Corporation serves the needs of nearly 1,000 students on a daily basis. YCS Corporation is actively seeking new schools to patner with. | Rise and Shine (Before-School) Program |
YCS Corporation provides before-school supervision at schools where a demonstrated need exists. The program starts at 6:00am and students have the opportunity to eat breakfast, participate in enrichment activities such as Arts and Crafts, and/or choose to partake in independent study or recreational reading. Students are under the supervision of a trained facilitator until the start of school.

| Homework and Study Skills Program |
YCS Corporation provides this program specifically for latchkey children, enrolled in the A+ Program, who wish to receive extra help on their homework and improve their study habits and skills. Teachers or trained tutors are available for several hours after school to work closely with each child. This program emphasizes the importance of education while also enhancing the student-teacher relationship.
YCS Corporation recognizes the need for child care on days when school is not in session. Extended Care Day Camps help working parents feel comfortable because their children are in a safe and enriching environment. All school-age children are eligible to participate in the program. Students choose from a variety of on-site activities that meet their physical fitness and intellectual needs. On certain days, excursions whisk students off to fun and educational sites, such as the Zoo, the Museum, and local beaches.

YCS Corporation offers this unique summer experience for students grades K-7 completed. All children who meet the grade requirements are eligible for the summer day camps. Students will go on exciting excursions, creative adventures, and overnight camping. The small group sizes enable the students to interact on a more personal and comfortable level with one another. Students come out of this experience with wonderful memories and many new friends.
| Lunch and Recess Activity Service |
In select schools, YCS Corporation provides lunch and recess activities for students during the regular school day. Our trained facilitators organize students who choose to participate in outdoor games, reading activities, dramatic play, story telling, and more.
YCS Corporation coordinates swim lessons for schools and community groups. We provide the staff and equipment necessary to teach your children swimming. In addition to swimming skills, lessons include important safety lessons for students to following and around the water. All swim instructors are trained and certified by the American Red Cross.
| Outdoor Education and Camping |
Students will gain an appreciation and understanding of the beauty of the natural environment. Activities provide for learning about how natural systems work while giving students a fresh and fun look at the environment around them. YCS Corporation offers overnight camping experiences.
